Neyth
(Cornish for nest)
Looking for some space to step away from it all, no distractions, back to basics, just the simple life? Then our round house could be the answer. This off grid holiday let is situated in our community garden, it has a small veranda and overlooks our emerging garden.

Neyth
Nestled in amongst the trees, our small cob-wall round house, with green roof gives you an off-grid experience...there is no wifi here...you'll hear nothing except bees and birds and perhaps the quiet voices of those staying in our holiday annex nearby.
Sleeping
The round house features a handmade double bed with comfortable double futon mattress, a woollen mattress topper, a selection of pillows and cotton bedding.
Sleeps 2

Relaxing
There is a small veranda from which you can take in our wild garden. Nature is our priority - this year we had a Robin's nest in the roof of the round house, we are also blessed with other nesting birds including Blackbirds and Blue Tits and Swallows. During the day we are visited by Dragonflies and as dusk descends, Bats swirl around the garden.

Retreat
There is a small writing bureau inside - a space for you to gather your thoughts and explore your ideas. We also provide a small selection of reading material. The space has solar powered fairy lights, chargeable lanterns, a reading lamp and battery candles. We do allow candles but please do not leave them unattended.

Outside bathroom
In the woods you will find our stylish compost toilet and a sink for any washing up you may have. You will also find an eco-shower (fill the container with your ideal temperature water,* switch on the pump and away you go!) Towels are provided.
*We also provide an electric tea urn to provide you with hot water.
Please be advised: you will be expected to use the shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided to keep the reed-bed bio-cultures alive. Additionally, you will be required to use biodegradable toilet paper from Who Gives A Crap, and the bin provided is for period products and wet wipes, so please don’t put them into the toilet. .

Access
Access is via a path through woodland, and lit by solar powered lights (there is an head torch in the roundhouse for your use whilst you stay with us). A padlock is provided for your use during your stay.
There is no parking on-site. You are allowed to drop off any baggage before heading up into the village to park.

Cooking
Cooking can only be done with a camping stove, if you do not have one, we can provide one for you and gas will be charged at cost. We can provide pans if requested. A fridge freezer is available on request.
Please be advised: In order to avoid attracting unwanted vermin, ALL food scraps must be placed in the bin provided by the sink (remembering to clip down the handles to secure the contents). There is also a small compost bin for vegetable peelings (no cooked food, no onions or citrus fruit please).
