Here at This Cornish Sanctuary we offer the perfect spot to get away from the stresses and strains of life. Chy Venton is an extremely relaxing place, fully equipped, and well-placed, offering all who stay a rewarding break. Perhaps you are looking for the ideal place to rest up after a full day surfing. Maybe you need a perfectly situated rental to explore the stunning South West Coastal Path. We can accommodate up to four guests looking for a uniquely relaxing holiday, a change from the norm, or a wild and invigorating break.

In addition we can accommodate 2 guests in our off-grid round house. This beautiful space has been described by guests as womb-like, the perfect space to recharge and so peaceful. The cob-house is situated in our community garden and features a comfortable handmade double bed, an outdoor shower, camp kitchen and compost-toilet. If you need to get away from it all, no distractions, then Neyth could be just what you need

Join us here, in the wildest part of the UK's most south-westerly tip, and discover Chy Venton – an eco-build constructed using reclaimed and repurposed materials. As an adaptive space it serves best when used as a healing environment waiting for you to impress yourself upon it. We are currently in the process of adding further space – a large garden and woods surrounding a purpose-built round house. So why not dream of a well-deserved break, with freedom enough to discover yourself, and then make it come true.

But we are also proud to have recently launched our Sanctuary offerings, so that during your stay you can take part in workshops, try a new sport, or maybe something transformational? For instance: let's say you want to reconnect with nature, go foraging or wild-swimming. You might want to learn the basics on herbal medicine, or you happen to be a walker or writer looking for inspiration, inside or out. You might enjoy a sport, or a hobby, and want to learn the basics of nutrition to help or even push yourself to achieving a dream. Perhaps you want to live a more sustainable life, and hope to indulge in personal work, needing a space to unwind as well as receive some guidance.

What we offer

We tend to work from home or are shoe-horned into an office each week, and those days are often relentless. Many live in depleted environments, with many more surviving hand-to-mouth, so we think it’s fair to say just how rare the opportunity for renewal is.

In light of that challenge our offer is simple: to provide what we can to help you relax, feel comfortable, rested, and renewed, having given yourself a chance to reconnect. But in a wild and invigorating environment that truly loves the brave.

How we choose to support others

We provide our guests with more than just a rental home, offering optional formative-guidance, and access to professional tutoring on subjects linked to personal wellbeing – both physical and mental. We offer inclusive support by making ourselves available to share our own personal journey, and invite our clients to try habit-changing routines, so that once returning home, and while unable to afford what are normally expensive full-and-tailored courses, they might still manage their way to better health and vitality.
